Our Vision
At Moab House, we believe that every young adult deserves a safe, loving, and productive environment as they transition into adulthood. One of the most powerful ways to make that possible is through volunteers and mentors who give their time, talents, and encouragement.
Ways You Can Help
- Mentor a MYA (Moab Young Adult): Be a listening ear, share life experience, and walk alongside a young person who may be navigating adulthood without family support.
- Teach a Life Skill: Lead a simple class or hands-on activity (cooking, budgeting, cleaning, time management, car care, etc.).
- Provide Practical Support: Help with rides to work or school, assist with facility projects, or spend quality time doing hobbies together.
- Support the Houseparents: Lighten the load by stepping in for errands, chores, or encouragement.
Why It Matters
Many of our young adults grew up without consistent guidance. By volunteering or mentoring, you provide:
- A stable, caring relationship where trust can grow.
- Practical knowledge that prepares them for independent living.
- A glimpse of what it means to be part of a safe, loving, and Christ-centered community.
